The University of Sydney, WHO Collaborating Centre for Physical Activity Nutrition and Obesity, and International Society for Physical Activity and Health ran an the online course Physical Activity and Exercise in Non-communicable Disease (NCD) Prevention in 2016

What was it? This was a 6 week course on the role of physical activity and exercise in chronic disease prevention, using clinical and population health perspectives delivered online. The instruction includes lectures, readings and interactive discussion led by experts.

Who should take the course when offered in the future? Professionals working in government, non-government organisations or similar institutions, in low and middle income countries and places where NCDs are rapidly emerging, will benefit.
